Michael Aram was intensely inspired by the rich metalworking traditions and the unnoticed craftsman during a trip to India. Using his skills as an American born metal artist, he set up a workshop in New Delhi, aiming to use his creative energies in craft design. Endeavoring to bridge the gap between artist and artisan, each piece is handmade using age-old techniques resulting in unique items to fit beautifully in both contemporary and classical interiors.
