Beautiful walnut tray- I’m using it in the bathroom.

I ordered a square wooden tray listed by AMARA as "walnut". When delivered the box label said the base was actually "walnut veneered MDF," and the frame "walnut". I am not convinced that the wood of the frame is real walnut, but may be a cheaper paler wood stained to look like walnut. One of the four sides of the frame has a patchy colour which looks most unnatural, as if the frame is pale wood that has been partially and inadequately stained. I think the quality of the item is low for something that cost £55, though I kept it because in use I can hid the patchy area.
