I like it and I like the sound it makes. Took off one star because, if I’m honest, it’s quite hard to tell the time because of the crooked branches etc ( unless of course it’s on the hour). Also, would have liked it to be slightly larger.

It took me a "minute" to get used to which tone to count because it starts with a soft, melodic tones before the main "Cucuruku" sound. It's very attractive on the wall (about 4 inches thick). It responds to light so it won't sound in a dark room. excellent purchase.

I bought this clock in a darker walnut color just a month ago in San Francisco (for $150 more!). I can’t believe I was able to buy this clock for so cheap. The recording of the bird singing is so clear and very soothing. I love that there is a light sensor to automatically silence the cuckoo at night. And It’s so pretty I love just looking at it as art.

Supposed to be solid oak; looked like veneer. Appears to have a beautifully painted tree on it; it's a sticker made of plastic! The cuckoo is made of plastic! For $352, I think Progetti could do much better, and I think it's too bad that you agree to sell such a cheaply-made and tacky item. Just awful!!
