Last week Related Companies unveiled the completed amenity spaces at the highly acclaimed 520 West 28th residential building. Designed by the late Zaha Hadid, the building, located in New York’s west Chelsea neighborhood, features 39 luxury condominiums ranging in size from two to five-bedroom residences.
As the first residents moved into the 11-storey property last week, new images released showcased the full range of luxury amenities available to buyers. Owners of condominiums in the Zaha Hadid-designed property will have access to the first private IMAX in New York City, which will offer exclusive content and serve as a bookable space for the building community.
Further facilities include a generous 75ft sky-lit pool within a wellness floor, which incorporates a full gym, 24 hour juice bar and spa suite offering a hot tub, rain showers, treatment beds, sauna, steam room and plunge pool.
Steps away from the building’s lobby level there is an entertainment lounge which is available for reservation for private events. Encompassing a full kitchen and a private outdoor terrace gesturing out to the High Line, it also features a landscaped courtyard with green landscape wall and water installation brought by Future Green Studio.
The building’s parking system utilizes top-tier technology, offering an automated robotic valet that tends to residents’ vehicles while parking and retrieving cars on call. The condominiums also feature never-before-used technology to the property’s home storage system, as private automated storage is accessed via a secured viewing room inspired by the design of a Swiss bank vault. Residents are able to activate their individual vaults via a keypad within the viewing room, while QR codes bring their vault to the secured space, allowing easy access to their storage.
