Uniting the worlds of flavor and fragrance, one of London’s most iconic hotels, The Ritz, presents a champagne dinner with a twist. Hosted by Master Perfumer Roja Dove renowned for his intoxicating perfumes and home fragrance, and showcasing the prestigious House of Laurent-Perrier, the dinner promises to ignite the senses and will be taking place on Friday 18th March 2016.
Part of the historic hotel’s 110th anniversary celebrations, The Ritz is offering guests the exclusive opportunity to enjoy an Escoffier- influenced menu with native lobster emulsion, spiced venison and rose petal tempura to name but a few delicacies. The menu is inspired by notes carefully selected by Roja Dove himself with each of the courses magically paired with a selection of the finest champagnes the House of Laurent-Perrier have to offer. The culinary skills of The Ritz London’s Executive Chef John Williams MBE, Roja Dove’s engaging and much respected creativity and the captivating history of Laurent-Perrier ensure the evening will be at the heart of spring 2016’s social diary.
Roja Dove has curated the scent for the evening by creating a candle using the world’s finest perfume ingredients from lime, jasmine, rose, peach and blackcurrant to cloves, nutmeg, vanilla and tonka beans, notes which are reflected in the four course menu. Made in celebration of the Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rose, the candle captures the sparkling essence of the Champagne making it the ideal accompaniment to the event. Taking place within the spectacular William Kent House at The Ritz, the black-tie occasion is set to commence with a Champagne and canapé reception in The Burlington Room before dinner is served in the Music Room. Every guest in attendance will receive the newly released Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rose candle and an exclusive discount certificate for the recently opened Roja Parfums boutique in The Burlington Arcade.
