Pip Studio prints are instantly recognizable with their bold florals and fun landscapes loved throughout the interior world. Now celebrating their 10 year anniversary Pip Studio have cast a keen eye back over the last decade to create a collection inspired by their most popular designs to encapsulate the brand as a whole. The brand have also chosen 2017 to look back on one of their most enduring collections, the Floral tableware range, to rework the favorite designs and give the pieces a new lease of life. The LuxPad takes a look at the Pip Studio 10 Year Anniversary Collection and the new Floral range…
After 10 years of creating happy products for happy people, Anke van der Endt (Pip was a nickname from her youth) rounded up the Pip Studio team to take a trip down memory lane and to look back over the last decade. Armed with a large apple pie and two huge pots of tea, the team were asked what were the highlights of the last 10 years, what were their favorite prints and what have they always wanted to make?
The results of this brainstorming session can be found in the new Pip Studio 10 Year Anniversary Collection released in the autumn of 2017. The collection is a beautiful combination of some of the brand’s key stylistic features from over the years from intertwined florals, to serene garden landscapes. Electric blue butterflies sit against polka dot backgrounds, whilst the pieces themselves are arranged in traditionally ornate shapes synonymous with classic tea sets.
Key elements from Anke herself can also be seen throughout the collection including her lovebird, which was her pet when she was a child, flowers from her favorite garden in Brighton, needlework patterns from her Aunt Rieneke and buttons and pearls from her Grandmother in Zeeland. All of these features come together to form a charming and classically ‘Pip’ Pip Studio 10 Year Anniversary collection.
The newly redesigned Floral collection is another delightful release by Pip Studio for autumn 2017 and sees the collection which was first launched in 2008 receive a modern update. Perfectly designed to mix and match with the existing range, the new Floral collection fits beautifully with the pink, blue and khaki color scheme and features the latest pattern and design developments from the brand which still maintain the character of the of the original tableware.
The new Floral collection has also been expanded to include a wider scope of products for every dining setting to be filled with the new design elements including fresh fruits, tiles and even more detailed florals. The range now also includes kitchen and table linens, glassware, and a brand new cutlery range. The new Floral range and the Pip Studio 10 Year Anniversary Collection is now available at Amara to celebrate the much-loved print brand’s milestone in style.
