Pact Coffee is one of many of the growing start-ups that take their office space seriously, or more to the point not-so-seriously. Following the footsteps of global powerhouses such as Google, Pact Coffee have created a stylish and fun work space, perfect for encouraging and cultivating creativity. Based in an old biscuit factory in Bermondsey, London, this work space features on-trend urban styling perfectly in tune with its warehouse architecture.
The huge space complete with the exposed brick and on-show air vents conjures up the perfect modern industrial interior style but this office has added quirks that make it unique. Encouraging environmentally friendly and healthy commuting, Pact Coffee staff can cycle straight into the office and right up to their desks thanks to open-plan nature of the space.
On a mission to get the UK drinking better coffee, Pact focus on world-class beans bought from dedicated farmers and then roasted at their HQ in Bermondsey. They ensure that the coffee isn’t ground until the last possible moment before being sent straight to the consumer, making it super fresh and accessible to all. The passion for coffee is evident throughout the interior, including the eye catching art installation of hanging coffee cups and of course there is the constant smell of freshly roast coffee ever present.
There are plenty of shared working spaces, helping to encourage team work and the mezzanine level with views across the office help to continue a sense of unity across the staff. There are plenty of comfy seating areas too, perfect for taking a coffee break. Thanks to its Victorian heritage, the warehouse-cum-office has large windows that allow plenty of natural light to flood in, ideal for all-day productivity.
