We love to take inspiration from our favorite celebrities’ home designs just as much as we do their sartorial choices. Unfortunately we don’t get as much of a chance to peek inside their sprawling mansions as we do their red carpet looks. We do however get to take a look when they put their homes up for sale, and thanks to Christie’s International Real Estate The LuxPad has got the inside scoop of celebrity home style from three superstars below…
Where: 1271 St Ives Pl, Los Angeles
Harry Styles, of One Direction and Dunkirk fame, has put his three-story, three bedroom contemporary masterpiece in LA, of 4,100 square feet on the market. Perched on a hill overlooking Sunset Strip, accessed through a long and gated drive and screened by mature trees, the estate is ultimately private. Mr. Styles updated the interiors with a contemporary look, to include floors of silver travertine extending beyond the interior living areas, through the sliding walls of glass, and to the terraces for a seamless indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Epic views from downtown to the ocean from this stunning modern property perched just above the Sunset Strip. Gated with long drive, this home offers complete privacy.
Where: Lock House, England
The sprawling country estate rented for two years by pop sensation and 15-time Grammy winner Adele is on the market for £7.25million. Lock House in Partridge Green, West Sussex, comprises a historic 10 bedroom home built at the turn of the 20th Century in the Vernacular Revival style and a secondary 3 bedroom residence set on the 85 acre site. The property was refurbished in the 1930’s including the ballroom, loggia and an extension to the service wing. In recent years the property has been extensively refurbished but with many of the Art Deco features from the 1930’s, including built-in bedroom furniture and bathrooms. With rich colors and traditional textures, much of the interior has a distinctive country heritage feel, perfectly in synch with the property’s beautiful surroundings.

Owned by Hollywood actor and Oscar winner Mel Gibson, the villas on Playa Barrigona are tropical retreats unlike any other. Situated amid 403 acres of privately owned jungle in a remote area of Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula, this tranquil estate features three homes, each nestled on a hilltop overlooking the Pacific Ocean. With lots of natural textures and wood panelling, the interiors channel a chic style infused with touches of tropical inspiration. Terracotta oranges and bright leafy botanicals also bring a touch of Mediterranean style to these incredible properties. Not far from the jungle, a secluded beach is just a short walk away — with sea-turtles travelling thousands of miles across the Pacific each year to lay their eggs on the white sand.
