Tucked away on the outskirts of an original gold mining settlement, Under Canvas Mount Rushmore provides an incredible tree-lined landscape with views of the iconic presidential monument. Under Canvas offers a range of accommodations from the deluxe tent with a private en suite bathroom, wood stove and deck, to the Stargazer tent with its own viewing window above the bed. All tents are equipped with in-tent bathrooms and showers, king size beds, sleeper sofas and resort-like luxuries including daily housekeeping.

Day One: Camp arrival: check in and settle into your Deluxe Tent before indulging in a luxurious dinner at the on-site restaurant complete with breath-taking views surrounding the camp.
Day Two: Breakfast is served before you partake in a full day private tour of the Black Hills which celebrates the three most popular destinations; Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer Skate Park. During your trip you will learn the history of each place and hear stories from the professional guides who have decades of experience to share. A lunch will be provided during the tour and back at camp dinner will be served with campfire smores for dessert.
Day Three: Enjoy breakfast before taking part in an activity of your choice. The first option is exploring a genuine Black Hills gold claim while learning to pan for gold in the same gold-rich streams that brought early miners to the area in the 1800s, option one also includes the opportunity to explore a near-by swimming hole. If you’d rather an action-packed day, the second choice includes a lake day filled with tubing, water skiing, cliff jumping and much more at a local reservoir. After the day’s adventure you will return to camp and enjoy an onsite dinner and relaxation time.
Day Four: Relax and unwind with a 30 minute massage in your tent before departing from the camp.
