Fritha Quinn is a mum of two, Wilf (8) and Mabli (4) living in Bristol. She writes the lifestyle blog Tigerlilly Quinn where you will find family travel, interiors and day to day life. She has a love of bright colors and vintage aesthetics. We asked Fritha and her family to test out the best toys and games of the moment…

1. Indoor Boredom Box

Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year. It’s been a crazy year and there is nothing I’m more excited about then spending quality time together. One of the first things that caught my eye on the AMARA site is this Indoor Boredom Box which is full of all the nostalgic games of your childhood plus a few new to me ones too.

2. Highway Kick 5 Scooter

We live in a city and tend to scoot most places, so this was the perfect gift for my eight-year-old. He thought it looked very grown up and stylish. With its adjustable handlebar and max weight of 80kg this will see him through childhood. My husband and I have recently bought adult scooters so this will be perfect for a boxing day outing round the harborside.

3. 3D Play Rug - Beach House

My four-year-old gasped when we unrolled this rug and my eight-year-old gets just as much fun playing beach house with it and their soft toys. I’d actually say they have got much more use of this than their dolls house as it’s easier for them to play on, plus aesthetically it will look great in their room.

4. Blockitecture Building Blocks - Big City

We love these blocks. There are so many different configurations you can use them for and it’s great for fine motor skills and problem solving too. I love toys that allow my children to use their imagination and they have been mixing their mini figures into their toy town creations too. A great activity for a rainy day.

5. OneStep+ i-Type Polaroid Camera

Ok this was sort of a big toy for me. I love instant cameras but what makes this one even more fun it the ability to pair it with your smart phone. You can pop it on a tripod and shoot via the app and also play around with double exposure settings too. I can’t wait to capture our Christmas on Polariod.
