WHO WE ARE
Sam has always had a passion for interior design. Around sixteen years ago whist working on a project, Sam realized that she was becoming increasingly frustrated by the inaccessibility of pieces from the brands she loved. We decided to do something about it. AMARA was born.

Established in 2005 as an independent boutique, AMARA moved to focus online in 2008 and has since grown to partner with over 300 of the world’s leading luxury home brands, including Versace Home, Missoni, Fornasetti, Roberto Cavalli and Kartell. Exceptional service and award-winning customer care – alongside weekly new collection launches – has established us as the go-to online destination for luxury homeware for a global audience in over 100 countries.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
Our collection brings together the very best brands, designers and craftspeople from all around the world. Whether it’s an iconic fashion house in Paris or a fifth-generation family business in Germany, we seek out incredibly unique global designs for our global audience and we’ll travel wherever we need to find them.
Over the years, we’ve partnered with some of our favorite brands to create exclusive product collaborations. Working with incredible designers and craftspeople, each piece is unique to AMARA, and only available for a very limited time.
There’s no waiting around for a new season with us. Every Tuesday we add hundreds of new designs to our collection to give you instant access to the latest products from the world’s best luxury home brands, and we’re always refreshing our brand portfolio to bring you the newest names in the industry, first.
It has never been more important to be a conscious consumer. In 2020, we launched our One Planet initiative to drive forward our commitment to improving sustainability in everything we do. From ensuring products have a long life by highlighting reselling initiatives, to encouraging our suppliers to consider their own environmental impact, we are constantly looking for new ways to be greener across all areas of our business. We are talking to experts in the field of recycling and upcycling to learn more, then passing this knowledge on to you so we can all work together to be better for our planet.

Discovering New Brands
Along with the giants of the luxury homeware world, we also champion the up-and-coming brands you might not have heard of just yet. We’re proud to present a platform for new design talent, and to give you the chance to discover these must-have homeware brands before anyone else.
Interior Designers of the Future
As part of our drive to support emerging talent and be engaged with the interior design community, we have forged a partnership with the prestigious KLC School of Design. Each year, we run an exclusive competition for their students to find and develop the interior designers of tomorrow.
Championing New Graduates
Founded by award-winning design journalist Barbara Chandler, Green Grads is an ongoing initiative that supports new graduates and the environment. Each year, graduates are selected to exhibit their work at the London Design Festival, focusing on the world’s environmental issues such as sustainability, global warming, and pollution. As part of our goal to do our bit for the planet, AMARA is proud to have sponsored the Green Grads programme for the past two years.
