Amara Student Interior Designer of the Year 2018/19
At Amara, we are committed to supporting fresh new interior talent. Getting a foot in the door is often the first step to building a career for life, and we want to help you get there!
This is why we created the Amara Student Interior Designer of the Year.
It’s an annual competition for all UK higher education students studying an interior design or related course.
Each year we give the next top interior talent a chance to earn well-deserved recognition and a fabulous career-founding prize.
After making it through the entry, voting and judging phases, the winning student will be crowned the Amara Student Interior Designer of the Year 2018/19. The winner will also get a £3,000 scholarship and week-long internships at both our head office and luxury London design firm, Rachel Winham Interiors. Two runners-up will get a scholarship of £1,000 each.
Our judging panel this year includes our very own Sam Hood, Creative Director and Head of Buying at Amara,
Daniel Hopwood, Past President of the British Institute of Interior Design and judge on the BBC’s The Great Interior Design Challenge, and Rachel Winham, world-renowned Interior Designer, and competition sponsor.
If you think you're our next top interior designer and fancy getting your work in front of our panel of judges,

Entry has closed this year, but check back here on the 4th March for who made it to the voting round!
