World renowned luxury fashion brand Kenzo was launched in 1970 by Japanese designer Kenzo Takada. The journey began with a small boutique in the luxurious Galerie Vivienne, Paris where Takada sold his very first handmade women’s collection.
The brand developed into a fully-fledged Parisan fashion house in 1976 with the opening of its flagship store at 3 Place de Victoires. Progressing swiftly from this point, Kenzo debuted their first men’s ready to wear collection in 1983, followed by kids and home collections in 1987 and fragrances in 1988.
A brand with a rich history, Kenzo is renowned for its ethnic-inspired prints and bold use of colour something which new creative directors Humberto Leon & Carol Lim have carried on after Takada retired in 1999. Injecting a new sense of fun into the brand’s designs whilst still staying true to the traditions of the Kenzo house, Leon & Lim continue to create uproariously popular collections across the entire brand. The Kenzo home collection of bed linen & towelling will instantly refresh your bedroom or bathroom, with their vibrant motifs and even brighter colours, perfect for bringing a touch of the exotic to your home.
