Whilst exploring the vintage districts unique to London, two young and successful fashion designers found inspiration for a high-end and luxury British watch brand. One day, whilst exploring the city’s most famous street market, Portobello Road in Notting Hill, one of the pair discovered a beautifully styled, classic Swiss wristwatch. With the words ‘henry, August 1965’ engraved on the case back, this watch had clearly survived the ravages of time. Inspired by the craftsmanship and quality found in the bygone age of watch making, the pair began to imagine the possibilities of reinventing Henry’s watch for the modern generation.
The Henry London collection pays close attention to detail and has been created as a result of meticulous research and experimentation. The designers of Henry London have utilised cutting-edge technology to produce reliable and precise watches without compromising on the style and design of their mid-century predecessors. Following a traditional style, the cases range from 25mm three hand calibre, through to 41mm chronograph with date. Each timepiece boasts a beautifully angled case and dome lens which accentuates the subtle curve of the dial and elongated hands.
Henry London watches bear a beautifully designed case back with a similar inscription to the original watch. Designed to fit the wrist with effortless comfort, Henry London watches are designed to suit a modern market whilst paying tribute to classic era luxury watches.
