FDB Møbler
FDB Møbler is a Danish furniture manufacturer that was born when the joint purchasing association FDB hired some young and aspiring furniture architects to design a collection of beautiful yet functional furniture at affordable prices. The establishment of FDB Møbler was proof that high-quality furniture needn’t be reserved for higher classes.
FDB Møbler had its peak from the 1950s into the 1970s, eventually closing the factory in 1980 however the brand re-launched in 2013 offering a collection of old classics designed by Børge Mogensen and Poul M. Volther amongst others.
Designed to be passed down from generation to generation, every piece is born as an heirloom and is built to last.
With a focus on high-quality craftsmanship and sustainably-sourced materials, FDB Møbler is aiming to become Denmark’s most responsible furniture manufacturer and is pushing boundaries to achieve this goal. All wood used is already FSC certified, and all textiles have the OEKO-TEX certification.
