Eva Sonaike is a London-based lifestyle company producing luxurious textiles and home decor that deliver vibrancy and colour to people’s homes. Driven by her enormous passion for African fabrics, interior decoration and colour, Eva Sonaike created her own label in 2009.
After being UK Fashion Editor for Hubert Burda Media for five years and working for German Elle, InStyle and Focus, Eva Sonaike decided to bring her passion for African fabrics and her exuberant love for colour to the luxury market. Born and raised in Germany and of Nigerian origin, Eva Sonaike has taken the best elements of those two cultures to inspire her work – her designs draw from the two distinct influences of colourful African clothing culture and European antique & mid century furniture traditions. She also graduated with a MA in Fashion from the London College of Fashion, where she specialised in contemporary African fashion and African textiles.
Emphasis is placed on hand finishing, distinct designs and high quality manufacturing and all Eva Sonaike bags and cushions are manufactured and printed in England.
