The rich history of the House of Emanuel Ungaro begins with its eponymous founder, Emanuel Ungaro, whose creativity and artistry launched the legendary brand nearly half a century ago.
Italian by heritage but born and raised in France he learned to sew from his father. By his mid-twenties, he was designing at the hallowed house of Balenciaga moving on to Courrèges.
In 1965, he launched his own boutique and label in Paris. Ladies flocked to him for body-skimming silhouettes, and within a few decades the line would come to encompass menswear, accessories, and several fragrances.
Located on the Avenue Montaigne in the heart of Paris’s couture fashion district, the House of Emanuel Ungaro has acquired international fame with its unquestioning femininity and incredible sense of colours, unexpected patterns, purity of shape and exquisite attention to detail.
The fabulous towelling and bathrobe collection is as exquisite as the iconic fashion lines with bold colours and patterns, luxurious glamour and classic designs that no home should be without.
