Founded in 1997, Day Birger et Mikkelsen has grown to become one of Scandinavia's most successful fashion brands.

Inspired by Asian tailoring and culture from over a decade spent in Asia, founder Keld Mikkelsen wanted to create a business focused on a design driven product with a craftsmanship revival- manifested in details such as embroidery and beading- and focusing on contemporary everyday glamour.

Marianne Brandi is the head of design and creative spirit behind the interior and lifestyle collection Day Home. Having worked in interior design all her professional life, Brandi joined Day in 1997, where she was initially responsible for all visual communication and interior decoration. In 2005 she took a creative leap and launched the Day Birger et Mikkelsen Home collection, characterised by inviting, natural and Scandinavian designs with a hint of international bohemia.
