Initially smaller than I expected, but lovely quality, and can be used for many things. Either as a serving tray as described or upside down using the silver handles as legs The slate has also been felted underneath to prevent scratching any surface it is placed upon Quite pricey for what it is and there are cheaper ones for sale elsewhere but you get what you pay for and this is a quality made piece..worth the extra

Bought this slate serving platter from this company. Everything was received well packed and were in a great condition. The slate platter..... well it was never bought with food in mind, I reversed the chrome handles on it to create two legs and now it sits in the en suite as a compliment to the granite surfaces. Very pleased, will definitely look at buying from Amara again in the future.
