Chris Levine’s Silent Light Installation
Christmas at sketch has been reimagined by Chris Levine, the world-leading innovative light artist. With an aim to celebrate our spirituality and senses, Levine has created ‘Silent Light’; a laser light and solfeggio sound installation for the Mayfair venue. Developed as an entrancing meditative experience, it is an emotional and physiological immersion which resonates with the inner workings of our minds and bodies.
Kinetica Presents ‘In the Rain’ Installation by Yuki Anai
The iconic pods are experiencing a change in weather this Christmas. Taking inspiration from nature, Yuki Anai works with sound, LED lighting and sensors to produce an inspiring installation showcasing the natural beauty of snow and rain.
sketch Christmas Afternoon Tea
A Christmas afternoon tea, featuring seasonal Bûche de Noëls, will be available in the Gallery, sketch’s monochromatic pink restaurant featuring 239 of David Shrigley’s works of art. The children’s Christmas afternoon tea will come with a limited edition Pat the Bear, complete with hand kitted baby Alpaca wool booties and bobble hat. sketch Christmas afternoon tea starts from £75 per person and the Children’s Christmas afternoon tea costs £50 per child.
The Lecture Room & Library Christmas Tree
Four of London’s leading florists are coming together for a collaboration like no other. Carly Rogers Flowers, Figa & Co, Rebel Rebel and JamJar Flowers are each showcasing their character and recognisable styles by decorating the Lecture Room & Library Christmas tree. At the top, Rebel Rebel has crowned the tree, JamJar Flowers have filled the middle with whimsical decorations, Carly Rogers has created her world at the bottom, and Figa & Co has created a charming floral peacock that winds elegantly around the tree.
Limited Edition Christmas Cocktail
Pepijn Vanden Abeele, sketch’s Bar Manager, has created a limited edition cocktail inspired by Chris Levine’s Silent Light installation. Electrictide incorporates the traditions of Christmas with an electric modern twist. Comprised of Havana Club Rum, homemade spiced apple cordial and Pommery champagne, it is finished with an electric sugar rim and topped off with star anise. The Electrictide cocktail will cost £18.50 and will be available until 6th January 2018.
