Restyling your home doesn’t have to involve big budgets or weeks of work, it can be quick and simple if you know how. Adding a few key decorative accessories to a room can be all it takes to revamp your space and breathe new life into a tired interior. Kristina Lindhe, founder of Lexington Company, shares her quick and easy expert advice on how to restyle your bathroom with The LuxPad below…

    1)      Towels

As the seasons change it is a great opportunity to update for warmer hues to create a cosy look. Mix and match colour and pattern in stacks by the bath for an instant new look.

    2)      Candles & Scents

The bathroom should be a relaxing space and the easiest way to create this is through scent and candlelight. Bring in scents like fresh mint for an invigorating feel or white roses for a lighter infusion.

    3)      Make It Personal

Use shells or driftwood you have found on the beach. It will bring back memories which are so important in making a room your own. Display them on shelves and by the window to inspire a coastal update.

    4)      Artwork

Is an easy way to change the feel of your space. Pick photographs or calming art styles to suit your style. For me I love crisp white frames and black and white photographs.

    5)      Colour

Keep walls and flooring simple and inject colours with accessories. I love incorporating different shades with stacks of fluffy towels, against a white or wooden background the colours really stand out. My current favourite colour combinations are light blue & soft grey, I also like to mix stripes and solid colours to change the look.

    6)      Bring Nature Indoors

Flowers and plants are perfectly suited to a bathroom. Pick fresh stems from the garden and pop in a jug or vase next to the bath, it instantly feels more like a relaxed space. Wooden influences also work.

    7)      Use Your View

Look out of the window and draw inspiration from your landscape, pick out colours, textures and influences.
