For The Discerning Dad
If your dad is a man who loves the finer things in life, he’ll love the Whisky Connoisseur Experience at the Bimber Distillery in London. One of the first London distilleries to produce Single Malt Whisky for over a century, Bimber Distillery ages their new-make spirit in four different cask types: ex-Bourbon, ex-Pedro Ximenez, ex-Port & virgin American oak, and the first batches will become whisky in June 2019.
The perfect gift for any whisky lover, you and your dad will start the experience at the distillery bar for a whisky cocktail before entering the distillery floor. Here, you will be shown how they mash, ferment and distil their fine malted English barley in the traditional style, before having a taste of the new make spirit. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a selection of cask aged spirits to see how different barrels influence the maturing whisky, and for a special treat you can even reserve a bottle from the inaugural release.
The Whisky Conoisseur Experience takes 90 minutes and is priced at £99 per person, for more information visit the Bimber Craft Distillery website.
