Very good quality and finish! If I had designed log holder I would have put in a "fill in" plate that fits in the bottom, (as an accessory if required), to catch the inevitable small splinters/pieces of bark from the logs that would drop onto the carpet from time to time I'm sure. I will be fashioning something for myself... that being said, I am very happy with my Amara log holder.
