Lodha UK appointed Eric Parry Architects, an award-winning global architecture consultancy, to carefully deconstruct and recreate a development synonymous with the neighbourhood’s heritage buildings. The neo-Georgian façade is set to be rebuilt brick-by-brick with improved ceiling heights between 3.1m and 4.2m – one of the highest of any new build residential development in London.
Yabu Pushelberg, the international design firm, has been appointed to create the interiors at No.1 Grosvenor Square. The studio has partnered with world leaders in retail and hospitality, including Louis Vuitton in Hong Kong, Bergdorf Goodman in New York and The London EDITION hotel. The appointment represents Yabu Pushelberg’s first residential project in London, with further details on the interiors set to be announced later this year.
The super-prime residential scheme comprises of 39 apartments and five bespoke duplexes, all located on the site of the former US Embassy (1938-1960) and the Canadian High Commission (1962-2013).
