Karen Discovers Berta Bridal AW 2015 Collection

One of the perks of being part of the Amara Weddings Team is that you are the first to hear of exclusive events exhibiting the latest collections in the industry. Last week our Head of PR & Weddings Karen was invited to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hyde Park to experience first-hand the AW 2015 bridal stylings of celebrated designer Berta hosted by Brides magazine.

On a beautifully hot summer’s evening, the exclusive catwalk show took place with a champagne reception and canapés to start. The event was held in collaboration with The Wedding Club, as the boutique stores based in ever luxurious Knightsbridge and Birmingham’s leafy suburb of Edgbaston were the very first stockists of the Berta bridal collection in the UK.

Famed for her fashion-forward styles loved by celebrities worldwide, Berta herself was on hand to discuss her latest collection which ranges from slinky yet sophisticated barely there backs to, show-stopping layers of tulle with glamorous embellishments. Two Birds were also on hand to showcase their unique take on bridesmaid dresses which allow you to style them in a vast amount of ways to suit every bridesmaid’s shape for even more big day inspiration.

Karen managed to capture a few behind the scenes snaps whilst all the action was unfolding in front of her – don’t the dresses look amazing?

Sneak Peek at the Shots from the Coastal Location Shoot

One of the key focus areas of the Studio’s recent coastal photoshoot in West Sussex was to capture a wide selection of room shots to be displayed on our Shop by Room section of the website. The beautiful beach front location provided the opportunity to incorporate the coastal theme into our home inspiration area which is a huge trend of the moment and allowed the team to use an array of different brands not yet used on location.

New England themed brands such at Lexington and Gant were in their element on this shoot, with their relaxed beach-style designs perfectly fitting for the location. Elle Amara’s Stylist, has informed us that the kitchen, living room, bathroom and one of the bedrooms were decorated in a strong coastal style, which worked to the team’s advantage, whilst other bedrooms had a more glamorous feel, letting Elle ramp up the style factor to get a wide variety of room shots.

Having wanted to do a coastal shoot for a long time now, the planning and preparations behind this trip were meticulous to ensure every image needed was captured. Elle has also said that whilst they didn’t have to style every room in the coastal theme, they did take full advantage of the breathtaking outdoor space by styling as many outdoor living shoots as they possibly could.

Here are just a few sneak peeks room shots, make sure you keep your eyes peeled on the Amara site in the coming months to see the finished images!
