Amara Named 60th in The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work for List!
After entering ourselves once more in The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies To Work For list, Amara triumphantly made it to 60th place!
Truly wonderful news, Sam & Andrew’s dream for the company to appear in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work for List, has now come true twice over! Whilst always focusing on customer satisfaction, Sam & Andrew have also ensured that Amara also focuses on the hardworking team behind the scenes. From legendary staff parties, events and charity fundraising to stylish work spaces, sample sales and (of course) the snack shack, the whole team are very proud to have made the list again.
Late last year, the whole team took part in an in-depth questionnaire created by best companies (the organisation behind the lists), which has been developed using an eight factor model which gets to the heart of what people want and expect from their working lives.
Over 400 different companies took the survey and once all of the responses were collected, they were then analysed and a BCI (Best Companies Index) score was awarded. At this point the score is translated to an accreditation from ‘One to Watch’ to ‘3 Star’ status and Amara achieved the highest 3 star accreditation at this stage!
After being confirmed that Amara had the made the top 100 list once more, a small group of the team attended the “Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For” awards at Battersea Evolution at the end of February.
