Alessandro Agrati was working as an interior designer in the early ‘90s when he realised how integral home fragrances were when creating a living space. Utilising his background in furniture and fashion, he drew inspiration from the in-trend rattan furniture of the moment to create the first fragrance diffuser. A brand new design, he revolutionised the home fragrance market by using rattan material to release fragrance into the surrounding space in an easy to use hassle-free way.
The Culti brand was born, and Alessandro was able to translate his endless inspirations for interior style through the art of luxury fragrances for the home. Bringing together the materials he loved to work with most, fabric and wood, and creating a product that enriched the senses was the driving force behind his creation and the subsequent Culti brand.
Developing the fragrance diffuser and honing it meant that soon Culti became the world’s leading brand for research, quality of the materials and the exclusivity of its fragrances. Originality has always been an essential value of the brand, and they take pride in being the first to introduce this new system for scenting the home.
After 25 years working hard to create the very best fragrances for the home and redefining diffusers, 2015 marked the beginning of a major renewal for Culti. They updated their line of existing home fragrances, and created captivating new creations including newly formulated fragrances. With this line of refreshed designs they further cemented themselves as an undisputed home style icon.
Last year Culti restyled their beautiful Milan showroom at 53 Corso Venezia, and opened a second boutique in heart of Brera district. Through their showrooms they translate the values of the brand and its products through the selection of materials and the way they are styled with clean, elegant lines, letting the product speak for itself.
