UGG® Slipper Care Guide
To ensure your UGG® slippers remain in the best condition for extra longevity and use, UGG® recommend you follow the below guide before the first wear of your shoes.
The UGG® Sheepskin Footwear Care Kit includes the suggested products to clean and protect your UGG® boots and slippers, perfect for using with their renowned twin-face sheepskin.
Ensure boots and slippers are clean and dry before applying the Sheepskin Protector. Take the shoe outside to a well ventilated area, shake the bottle and spray the sheepskin evenly from about 15cm away. Ensure the boot is wet but not soaked and leave to dry naturally for at least 24 hours in a cool, ventilated space, avoiding direct sunlight and heat. Once dry, brush in one direction with a suede brush for best results.
After a few months of wear, the Sheepskin Cleaner & Conditioner is perfect for restoring the condition of your boots or slippers. Lightly dampen the shoe with clean water and a sponge, apply the cleaner and conditioner to the wet sponge and gently scrub the surface of your boot or slipper. When finished, use a clean, damp sponge to remove excess residue and stuff with newspaper to speed the drying the process and hold the shape. Once naturally dried, reapply the Sheepskin Protector following the instructions above.
To eliminate any odour and refresh boots, spray the inside of each boot or slipper with the Sheepskin Freshener and let them dry naturally for at least 24 hours in a cool ventilated space.
Never put any UGG® boot or slipper in the washing machine or take them to the dry cleaner.
