Limited Edition Scented Candle - Cammei Oro

This luxurious scented candle by Fornasetti is part of the limited edition Profumi Cammei Oro Gold Collection. The Cameo theme is dear to Fornasetti, a non-architectural design that still recalls the neoclassical period. Only 800 of these stunning candles have been made, each hand painted in gold with hand-poured 100% vegetable wax ensuring each candle has a regular scent diffusion and long-lasting clean burn.

It features Fornasetti’s signature home scent ‘Otto’ which was created by Barnaba Fornasetti with the help of world-renowned master-perfumer Oliver Polge.  It is a sophisticated and unique scent that transcends time, season, gender and borders.  Olivier made use of ingredients that are of personal significance to Barnaba – Mediterranean herbs that were found in and around the family home, woods often utilised in interior designs or pieces of furniture created by Fornasetti. Other more ethereal ingredients- such as incense- conjure a latent spirituality or sense of dreamscape that is often present in Fornasetti graphic poetry.

The Fornasetti home fragrance collection encompasses various home scenting devices from the ubiquitous scented candle and boxed incense sticks through to room sprays and ceramic globe diffusers for incense, perfumed oil or scented rocks. Each object has a clearly defined purpose and can be re-used, given an alternative use, or added to a Fornasetti collection.
