This brushed steel sensor bin by Superhuman is super stylish & super clever, featuring multi-sense™ technology that reacts and adapts to your behaviour. It won’t open unexpectedly or close before you’ve finished your task, making it a cleaner, easier way to manage your rubbish. It is responsive to your actions, modulating the sensor range and automatically changing behaviour to suit your needs.
The trigger zone is a focused space directly above the lid, so it’s easy to reach and very precise; the signal doesn't spill out in front of the bin where it can be mistakenly triggered when you walk nearby. Once the lid is open, the trigger zone extends to become more sensitive to activity. That way the bin is sure to know if you're still in the area, so the lid won't close before you've finished your task. For longer chores, like changing the liner or cleaning up after dinner, the lid conveniently stays open for an extended period. After 3 seconds of continued activity, the bin switches to a 30-second stay-open mode- even if you step away.
Slam the lid down, overstuff it, or even stop it with your hand; the clutch system will temporarily disengage to prevent damage to you or the motor. Simplehuman have also integrated an odorsorb™ filter compartment directly into the inner lid. The odorsorb™ filters use carbon to eliminate odours naturally. The battery compartment is located on the back of the can. No fumbling under the lid to change batteries and with the sensor bin's efficient power management, 6 C batteries last up to a full year. Nylon discs under the bin make it easy to slide, but gentle on your floors, so there is no heavy lifting when you need to clean behind the bin. Perfect for any space, this brushed steel sensor bin is simply a must have.
