Lake of the Wavelets

The place "Lake of the little waves" really exists! I saw this sign by coincidence via a fun travel in September 2003, when I met with a group of volcanologists and gave a talk about wavelets for seismology. You can find the lake on the tiny Italian island of Pantelleria. Like the island, the "Laghetto delle Ondine" is tiny. And you will need to hike in some distance to find it.

I saved my unused legs for the rest of my island bicycle trip, so I didn't hike the distance to the wavelet lake. But check it out! And then write to me and tell me of your adventures....
