New Orla Kiely Citroën car
Amara loves the new and unusual partnership of Orla Kiely and Citroën. They have recently joined creative forces to design a fabulously stylish and quirky car. This limited edition version of the Citroën DS3 showcases oral Kiely’s unique and clean cut designs. The Citroën model has been around for a while and now you can choose from four Orla Kiely designs for the exterior. This fashionable car also features plenty of interior detail, including stem print rear window graphics, a colour contrasting dashboard, a featured lamp, themed door handle inserts, Orla Kiely embossed multi-coloured headrests on the leather seats and stem or acorn print carpet mats for the interior detail.
Kiely’s signature will appear on the roof and her logo on the boot, the distinctive motif took 6 months to design and over 100 hours to craft using the highest quality materials and specialist customisers. If you are taken with the Orla Keily Citroën DS3, you best be quick to register your interest, as there are only 500 in production, and it has a £16,000 price tag.
Amara have long been a fan of the London based Orla Kiely and her 60s and 70s inspired designs. She qualified as a textile designer from Dublin National College of Arts & Design before doing a Masters in knitwear at Royal College of Art in London. She was first commissioned by Harrods in 1993 for a range of accessories and the Orla Keily label was born.
Amara stock a wide range of her gorgeous home ware, from bed linen to bath towels. We especially love this Multi Stem king size duvet cover, featuring her iconic signature stem print enlarged here to brighten even the darkest of rooms. Fun, yet stylish, the graphic design is simple and shows Orla Kiely’s love of pattern and colour. For a wide range of Orla Kiely home ware visit the Amara website today.
